About the Role

We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Westminster Kingsway College. As a key member of the ALS Team, you will work closely with teaching staff to support learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support to students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to differentiate and facilitate learning according to learner needs.
  • Work with small groups, 1:1, and as floating support to promote student engagement and success.

Requirements

  • A good general level of education with GCSE English and Maths to C or above.
  • Proven experience in providing learning support to students in an educational setting.
  • An understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and Safeguarding protocols.
