Job Title: SEN Support Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SEN Support Assistant to join our team at a lovely school in Littlehampton. The successful candidate will work in a Year 3-4 mixed class, providing individual support to students with additional needs such as Autism and Dyslexia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general TA duties and 1-1 support to students with special educational needs
  • Promote and reinforce students' self-esteem and encourage them to maximise their achievement and development
  • Support the teacher in planning and delivering lessons to meet the needs of students with special educational needs

Requirements:

  • DBS on the update service or willingness to purchase one
  • Good understanding of the current Primary curriculum in UK schools
  • Experience in working with students with special educational needs
