About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Pink Tile Education Ltd. This is a dynamic and rewarding role that requires a skilled and dedicated individual to support children with high needs ADHD in a Littlehampton school setting.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Support children with ADHD in their daily activities and learning, using creative methods tailored to individual interests to keep them engaged.


  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and adapt learning resources that cater to the needs of students with high needs ADHD.


  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social interaction and engagement among students.


  • Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour, providing valuable insights to support the development of individual learning plans.


  • Work closely with the school's safeguarding team to ensure the well-being and safety of all students.




Essential Requirements:



  • Previous experience working with children that have special educational needs.


  • Experience working with high needs ADHD and challenging behaviours.


  • A DBS check registered on the update service or a willingness to obtain one.


  • A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach to support the needs of students with high needs ADHD.


  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work within a team.


  • The ability to be adaptable, remain calm in challenging situations, and respond to the needs of the pupils.
