Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Alarm Systems Service Engineer to join our team at Trinity Fire & Security Systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for servicing, installing, and maintaining fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with current regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and maintain fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Install new fire alarm systems and equipment as required.
  • Liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Plan and prioritize work to ensure timely completion of tasks and meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all work activities and customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices in fire alarm system maintenance and installation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and new technologies to ensure continued competence and expertise.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in fire alarm system maintenance and installation.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including BS5839 Pt:1.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic electrical safety training (ECA) and manufacturers' training in fire alarm systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Working Conditions

This role will involve working in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines and customer expectations. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a variety of weather conditions. You must be physically fit and able to lift and carry equipment as required.
