Civil Engineering Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at the Structural Engineering Alliance Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading an engineering cost centre and utilizing the latest design software to create and manage structural designs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead an engineering cost centre, ensuring projects are appropriately resourced and delegated to team members.
- Develop and implement structural designs using the latest software and technologies.
- Liaise with key clients and stakeholders to discuss design and technical solutions.
- Monitor and oversee project budgets and staff resources.
- Provide support and guidance to junior staff, fostering their development and progression.
- Prepare calculations, drawings, details, specifications, and reports for a wide range of structures and materials.
- Implement company policies and ensure adherence across your team.
- Chartered Engineer status (CEng) is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
- Proven track record of cost estimation and project management.
- Prior experience working with historic buildings is highly desirable.
