We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Nuclear Power Systems Engineer to join our team at Jacobs, supporting our key client EDF Energy Nuclear Generation with their nuclear fleet in the UK.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical engineering and a strong background in managing and delivering electrical power systems design and installation projects. You will be accountable to the client Project Manager, Programme Manager and/or Construction Manager and will be part of a large client-led team at EDFs Dungeness B Power Station.

Key responsibilities will include producing and maintaining engineering documentation, managing technical queries, supporting contractor selection and contract placement, and performing feasibility studies and site surveys.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including free single medical cover and digital GP service, family-friendly benefits such as enhanced parental leave pay and free membership of employee assistance and parental programmes.

To succeed in this role, you will need a Chartered Engineer or HND Plus qualification with extensive experience in electrical engineering, as well as a Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) qualification. Experience of Identifying, implementing, and complying with applicable safety, environmental and quality standards, company procedures and policies and other relevant legislative and regulatory requirements is also essential.
