The Role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Communications Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and implementing strong communication solutions, both company-wide and at a departmental level. You will be responsible for creating and reviewing content for company-wide and department-specific communications, ensuring all communications are consistent and follow our brand guidelines.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Create and review content for company-wide and department-specific communications.
  • E nsure all communications are consistent and follow our brand guidelines.
  • Contribute to campaign planning and execute campaign activity according to agreed schedules.
  • E nsure internal communication messages are consistent with external communication messages and employees are informed of all developments.
  • Assist in drafting messages from senior leadership.
  • Manage internal company communication channels, including intranet, Teams channels, and email.
  • Partner with the Senior Communications Manager to deliver our monthly internal newsletter.
  • Work with our in-house design and creative team to create compelling visual and video content.
  • Plan and organize internal communications events.
  • Respond to feedback from staff and adjust communications content accordingly.
  • Monitor engagement metrics and interpret data into actions.
  • Identify new communications and engagement opportunities.
  • Partner with the Senior Communications Manager to continually improve internal communications strategies.

Requirements
  • Significant experience in an internal communications or related field (communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, human resources, academia).
  • Native-level English speaker.
  • Experience in copywriting and editing.
  • Strong communication skills, including written, spoken, and presentation skills.
  • A storyteller that can write, edit, and publish communications in an authentic and human way.
  • Experience of communicating to a globally distributed, remote workforce.
  • Competence in using MS Office applications and digital internal communications tools.
Salary

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and bonuses.
