Job Overview:

The Commercial Manager will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of our business, including identifying new sales opportunities, building strong relationships with subcontractors and customers, and overseeing the development of our commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the North West region, working closely with our sales team to secure new contracts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, ensuring that they are fully supported and that our business is represented in the best possible light.
  • Oversee the development of our commercial strategy, working closely with our Contracts Director to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of commercial transactions, including sales, purchases, and financial data.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a proven track record of identifying and securing new sales opportunities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A strong understanding of commercial principles and practices, including financial management, sales and marketing, and business development.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 (negotiable) plus a company package, including a comprehensive benefits program and opportunities for professional development and growth.

Location:

The successful candidate will be based in Preston, with regular travel throughout the North West region.
