Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Occupational Therapist to join our rotational team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to develop a broad range of skills and knowledge in both assessment and rehabilitation, working alongside experienced clinicians and other members of the multi-disciplinary team.

Main Responsibilities

The role will involve working in various specialties, including acute hospital care, inpatient general and stroke rehabilitation, and community therapy.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in service improvement projects and will have regular access to clinical and managerial supervision.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience of working in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Experience in a wide range of student placements with at least some in a physical environment
  • Working knowledge of a broad range of conditions
