Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Occupational Therapist to join our rotational team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop a broad range of skills and knowledge in both assessment and rehabilitation, working alongside experienced clinicians and other members of the multi-disciplinary team.

About the Role

This rotational post offers a unique opportunity for Occupational Therapists to gain experience and develop their skills in various specialties, including acute hospital care, inpatient general and stroke rehabilitation, and community therapy.

The role will involve working in a flexible pattern, including weekends, and will provide opportunities for professional development and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement occupational therapy plans to support patients with a range of conditions
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of occupational therapy services and policies
Person Specification

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist with:

  • A diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current HCPC registration
  • Experience in a wide range of student placements, including physical environments
  • Working knowledge of a broad range of conditions
