Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Governance Specialist to join our team at MAHLE. The successful candidate will be responsible for the governance of project processes, reporting directly to the head of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of proposal and PCR processes from enquiry to release of proposal to the customer
  • Ongoing quotation and PCR plan management from initial release to customers to receipt of PO / IWO issue
  • Completion of the IWO process upon receipt of customer Purchase Orders
  • Maintain regular contact and a strong working relationships with Project and Proposal Leaders
  • Analyse, interpret and report on project performance (financial and timing) including creation of metrics for the leadership team
  • Ensure project plans are fully up-to-date in support of month end, year end and other processes:

Requirements

  • GCSEs in Mathematics and English at Grade C or above, or equivalent, essential
  • A further education qualification in a Business related subject (or working towards), essential
  • Qualifications in Management/ Supervision, desirable

Skills and Experience

  • IT literacy in MS Office applications including Project Server 2013 are essential
  • Proven organisational and time management skills are essential
  • Experience of working in a Commercial environment is desirable
  • Proven office administration experience is essential including the handling of confidential information
  • Administration experience gained within an automotive environment is desirable
  • Experience of powertrain development is desirable
