As a Fire Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining fire detection and alarm systems, as well as other security systems such as door access, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities:

* Install fire detection and alarm systems to a high standard of workmanship
* Install door access, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems to a high standard of workmanship
* Perform small works for all types of life safety systems
* Understand and comply with regulatory fair trading and competition rules
* Support company policy and best practice in security
* Implement and act in accordance with the organisation\u2019s information security policies

Requirements:

* Strong background and knowledge within Fire Security
* Willingness to work away from home when required
* Excellent first-time resolution and risk management skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Proven background and experience of working within fire engineering
* Experience of undertaking service repair work
* Experience of conventional and addressable fire systems across a range of manufacturers\u2019 equipment
* Good installation practices
* Knowledge of integration of detection systems into other disciplines
* Understanding of BS5839
* Full driving license
* FIA commissioning accreditations

Preferred Requirements:

* VESDA and other aspirating manufacturers
* Electrical background

Training:

Further development training will be provided to the right applicant
