Job Summary

Kings Security is seeking a highly skilled Fire Installation Specialist to join our team. As a Fire Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing fire detection and alarm systems to a high standard of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation of conventional and analogue addressable fire alarm systems
  • Installation of Intruder Access control and CCTV systems
  • Installation of small works for all types of life safety systems
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory fair trading and competition rules
  • Supporting company policy and best practice in security
  • Implementing and acting in accordance with the organisation's information security policies
  • Protecting assets from unauthorised access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference
  • Reporting security events or potential events or other security risks
Requirements
  • Strong background and knowledge within Fire Security
  • Willingness to work away from home when required
  • Excellent first-time resolution and risk management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A proven background and experience of working within fire engineering
  • Experience of undertaking service repair work
  • Experience of conventional and addressable fire systems across a range of manufacturers' equipment
  • Good installation practices
  • Knowledge of integration of detection systems into other disciplines
  • Understanding of BS5839
  • Full driving license
  • FIA commissioning accreditations
Desirable Requirements
  • VESDA and other Aspirating manufacturers
  • Electrical background
Training and Development
