Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Officer to join our team at the Scottish Police Authority. As a Production Officer, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient management of productions within the forensic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safe receipt, storage, transfer, and return of all productions within the forensic environment.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to ensure the provision of the production process is achieved within agreed performance criteria and according to national Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ensure up-to-date working knowledge of all relevant legislation and guidelines, including Health and Safety, COSHH, and contamination guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the goals and objectives of the team.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the effective management of productions.
Requirements
  • Education to SQA Higher level or equivalent.
  • Relevant working experience in a service environment.
  • Proven experience of effective performance providing administrative and clerical support.
  • Up-to-date working knowledge of all relevant legislation and guidelines.
