Health and Social Care Manager Position

We are excited to announce a Senior Support Worker Leader position within our Leonard Cheshire organization. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping the future of our care services, driving excellence through effective leadership and collaboration.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of our support worker teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. They will also be responsible for implementing policies, adhering to regulatory requirements, and maintaining high standards of care.
Responsibilities- Line manage a team of support workers, providing coaching and mentoring to enhance their skills and confidence.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, promoting open communication and teamwork.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to drive departmental goals and objectives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, tracking team performance and progress against key performance indicators (KPIs).
- A recognized professional qualification in health and social care or equivalent experience.
- SVQ Level 3 qualification in health and social care or working towards this.
- Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Demonstrable commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Salary range: £42,000 - £52,000 per annum.
