Senior Quantity Surveyor - Saxton Recruitment LTD

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client's growing commercial team in Northampton. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing large-scale design and build projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the commercial aspects of large-scale projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports, including financial analysis and progress updates, to stakeholders.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in a similar commercial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of construction law, contracts, and commercial practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities.
