Conference and Events Administrator

Baltic Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Part Time Conference & Events Administrator to join a busy Conference, Training & Business Centre in Newton Aycliffe.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to assist with the coordinating and promotion of the venue's spaces to a range of corporate clients. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing event-related administrative and operational support, ensuring the successful and smooth delivery of a busy daytime meeting and events schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the online booking system to maximise conferencing opportunities for the venue.
  • Lead bookings and liaise with clients and team members to plan event resources including hospitality and catering, IT and room set ups.
  • Provide operational support to clients pre, during and post event to ensure success.
  • Develop strong customer focus with exceptional interpersonal/customer service skills to ensure seamless event experiences.
  • Utilise strong IT skills and familiarity with setting up IT and in-house audio-visual equipment.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a small and busy team of centre administrators providing a range of admin support and services.
