About the Role:
- As a Senior Practitioner in our Children's Service, you will work with birth families to address difficulties and prevent children from entering care.
- You will offer support and alternatives to children going into care, assess prospective foster carers, and train them to provide a stable environment for children.
- Additionally, you will match children with adoptive families, prepare and move children to adopters, and facilitate contact between birth parents and children after adoption.
- You will also provide support to all parties involved in the adoption process, including adopted children and adults, adopters, and birth families.
- Working closely with the legal department, you will ensure a smooth adoption process.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Significant frontline experience in Children's Services.
