Staffs Engineering Recruitment Ltd seeks a Site Operations Coordinator for a permanent full-time position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for site fabrication surveys, coordinating with sites to meet their requirements and scheduling. Key responsibilities include site measurements, drawing design, liaison with clients, BoM creation, estimating, coordination of sites/scheduling, budget tracking, H&S compliance, quality control, training, and staff performance management.

The salary package includes £45k (negotiable) + private health/pension + benefits. Working hours are Monday to Friday.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Conducting site measures to inform drawing designs.
  2. Liaising with clients to ensure their project specifications are met.
  3. Creating detailed BoMs for quoting and materials ordering purposes.
  4. Preparing accurate estimates after site measurements or from supplied drawings.
  5. Coordinating sites and schedules efficiently.
  6. Tracking budgeted hours against actual hours for fabrication and site work.
  7. Maintaining high standards of H&S and housekeeping practices.
  8. Monitoring quality control across the workshop and site operations.
  9. Contributing to business growth and development initiatives.
  10. Developing less experienced team members.
