Avionics Systems Specialist

As a B2 Licensed Engineer, you will play a crucial role in easyJet's Engineering and Maintenance team. Your primary responsibility will be to carry out scheduled tasks assigned by the Duty Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor in accordance with approved maintenance documentation.
You will be required to demonstrate applicable technical knowledge of aircraft and hand skills to carry out tasks assigned. Competence in the use of aircraft maintenance documentation, computer-based reporting and recording systems, and the ability to supervise small teams as required by the operation and work requirement are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hold UK CAA Part 66 B2 license and authorisation or equivalent on company aircraft.
- Demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of applicable airworthiness legislation.
- Have a minimum of 3 years operational experience in a line maintenance environment.
- Proven ability to communicate issues to management with a high degree of customer focus – both internal and external.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, as well as independently, across all levels of the organisation.
- Willingness to be flexible in order to meet deadlines and overcome operational problems.
- Ability to embrace change and drive improvements within the business.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.

Location & Hours of Work:
This part-time role will be based in Luton working NN 10.75 hour shifts. Shift pattern will be 2x6 with occasional travel requirements to easyJet's headquarters or network locations.
