We are an outstanding council serving an outstanding borough, and we're looking for an experienced Head of Public Affairs and Engagement to join our team. This role comes with a competitive salary of £80,000 per annum and a comprehensive benefits package.

About the Team

You'll be working in the Communities and Strategy Directorate, reporting directly to the Director of Communications, Culture and Engagement. The team consists of 16 officers covering various aspects of communications, including campaigns, design, digital content, internal communications, media relations, public affairs, and publications.

The successful candidate will bring significant experience of communications leadership in a local authority or organisation of comparable scope and complexity. They should be a dynamic, strategic leader who can inspire their team to excel in their roles.
