About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Head of Public Affairs and Policy. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective public affairs and policy strategies that drive results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Public Affairs Strategy: Develop and implement effective public affairs strategies that drive results.
  • Policymaker Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key policymakers, including MPs, Peers, and civil servants.
  • Campaign Management: Design and deliver campaigns to influence policymaker decision-making and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Communications: Develop and deliver clear, concise communications to stakeholders, including reports, briefings, and presentations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in public affairs, government relations, or a related field.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as politics, public policy, or international relations.
  • Skillset: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences. Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
