Procurement Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Calibre8 Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating suppliers, products, and services, as well as negotiating contracts throughout the procurement process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies and policies
  • Manage and motivate procurement staff to ensure a positive workplace environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business to achieve procurement goals
  • Ensure sustainability, manage risks, and report to senior management as required
  • Ensure ethical, legal, and regulatory compliance is adhered to at all times
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Procurement or Purchasing Manager position or Procurement/Purchasing Team Leader level
  • Experience of working within a regulated or controlled industry or sector
  • Proven experience of overseeing procurement, contract negotiation, and cost savings
  • Experience with SAP and SalesForce is ideal
  • High level of IT literacy and ability to use Microsoft Office packages to a high level, including Teams
