CAPEX Procurement Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CAPEX Procurement Manager to lead all facets of Capital investment projects across UK Business Lines.

About the Role: As a key member of our collaborative team, you will be responsible for implementing strategic sourcing, creating negotiation strategies, and managing relationships with approved suppliers to achieve optimal cost, service, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Manage the full-lifecycle CAPEX project tender processes, focusing on major assets and plant machinery
  • Cultivate collaborative relationships with internal teams, legal departments, and the Global Sourcing team
  • Monitor supplier performance against Service Level Agreements and provide actionable feedback to vendors
  • Promote continuous development and improvement by staying informed on market trends and introducing innovative procurement methods

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Procurement experience, including end-to-end strategic procurement
  • Track record of procuring Capital expenditure (CAPEX), with a technical mindset
  • Comfortable with Excel Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPS
  • Be agile and curious, always looking for an innovative solution
