Procurement Manager - Capital Expenditure Specialist

1st Executive Ltd is seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to lead all facets of Capital investment projects across UK Business Lines. This pivotal role involves tendering, negotiating, and contracting, adopting a comprehensive approach to investment project management, and delivering exceptional service levels in purchasing agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement strategic sourcing and create negotiation strategies, ensuring comprehensive stakeholder engagement and communication
  • Formulate effective sourcing strategies, and manage relationships with approved suppliers to achieve optimal cost, service, and quality
  • Oversee the full-lifecycle CAPEX project tender processes, particularly focusing on major assets and plant machinery
  • Cultivate collaborative relationships with internal teams, legal departments, and the Global Sourcing team
  • Maintain operational continuity by managing purchasing contracts and coordinating with business units to maximize value
  • Monitor supplier performance against Service Level Agreements and provide actionable feedback to vendors
  • Promote continuous development and improvement by staying informed on market trends and introducing innovative procurement methods

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Procurement experience, including end-to-end strategic procurement
  • Track record of procuring Capital expenditure (CAPEX), with a technical mindset
  • Comfortable with Excel Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPS
  • Be agile and curious, always looking for an innovative solution
