Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Plant Maintenance Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our consulting team, you will provide expert-level support for the day-to-day management of the SAP Platform applications, as well as develop and implement solutions under project work identified.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide second and third-line support for incidents reported to the service desk, in line with SLAs, when not working directly on project-related activities.
  • Complete unit and integration testing of developments in line with agreed processes, ensuring completion within allocated timescales.
  • Deliver regular release items, understanding business requirements and completing the design, build, testing, and deployment of functional components.
  • For small projects, report to the Plant Maintenance Solution Lead to aid delivery of the project scope of work.
  • Communicate internally with business users and externally with SAP.
  • Support the acceptance and implementation of new functional solutions into the production environment, ensuring relevant support documentation is available.
  • Develop and deliver release notes and key user training for all new or enhanced application functionality.

Requirements

  • Subject Matter Expert for SAP PM Module
  • Strong experience in SAP PM functional Development/Support
  • Strong experience working in an Operational Service & Maintenance environment
  • Specific knowledge of SAP PM module, including Service BOMs, Functional Location Structures, PM Orders/Notifications/Task Lists, Maintenance Scheduling/Resource Management, Equipment Records, Serialisation, Split Valuation, and Project Stock
  • Good understanding of integration with other SAP modules
  • Completed at least one significant full systems implementation lifecycle
  • Completed solution configuration for primary module
  • Operated in multi-project, matrix-managed environment
  • Experience of systems development and project management methodologies
  • Understanding of ASAP and experience in delivering solutions within ASAP methodology
  • Experience of Manufacturing Industry Support
  • Knowledge of iPPE would be an advantage
