About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Support Worker to join our team in Bexleyheath. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals with complex learning disabilities, enabling them to gain greater independence and improve their well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide social and emotional support to service users, either at home or in the community
  • Support with personal care, including personal hygiene needs if required
  • Assist with shopping and budgeting
  • Build and maintain relationships with friends and family of service users
  • Perform household tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Engage in activities with service users, such as going for walks, meals, and other community-based activities
Requirements
  • Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, including autism (full training will be provided)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Computer literacy and basic IT skills
  • Desirable: car driver (not essential)
