Job Title: Clinical Psychologist - Specialist School

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Shire Healthcare, working within a specialist school in the West Midlands. The successful candidate will be part of a school-based therapy team, working with children aged 5-19 with ASD and/or SEMH needs and communication and social associated difficulties.

Role Overview

This is a new post created to help develop and embed the psychology input within the school. The post holder will work collaboratively with school staff to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for our young people with a systemic approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with children aged 5-19 with ASD and/or SEMH needs and communication and social associated difficulties
  • Develop and deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans with a systemic approach
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure effective implementation of plans
  • Support the development of the school-based therapy team
Requirements

We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with:

HCPC registrationExperience working with young people with SEMH needs and ASDWhy Shire Healthcare?
