About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Physical Health Psychology Service, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessment and therapy to clients with complex mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide highly specialist psychological therapy and management of clients' mental health conditions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and support for clients.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure client safety.
  • Contribute to service development and evaluation, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate doctoral level training in applied psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
  • HCPC registration as an Applied Psychologist with Chartered Status.
  • Experience of working in cancer services, with a strong understanding of the complexities of physical health and mental health.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.
