Our client offers a unique opportunity for healthcare professionals to use their skills differently as Functional Assessors. Conducting unbiased assessments for claimants of the Government's Personal Independence Payment, you'll provide comprehensive reports evaluating how a claimant's health condition or disability affects their daily life.
As part of our hybrid model, you'll spend time based at home and assigned to work from your nearest assessment centre to deliver face-to-face assessments. This role requires strong computer skills, impartiality, and excellent time management.
Salary and Benefits
Your starting salary is £38,500 per annum, with potential increases as you achieve remote approved status and face-to-face delivery. Our company supports ongoing development, providing close mentorship and training programs.
Your Qualifications
- Post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic
- Fully registered with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, or other), without restriction or conditions and with a valid PIN
- Excellent observational and communication skills, enabling effective listening, empathy, and in-depth analysis
- Able to type at a minimum of 30 words per minute
- Demonstrable experience with IT and Microsoft Office, including remote system access
