Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Foot Care Assistant to join our Diabetes Foot Protection Service at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive evidence-based assessments, reviews, and management of our diabetic cohort.

Main Duties
  • Assist in providing comprehensive evidence-based assessments, reviews, and management of our diabetic cohort.
  • Support the team in delivering this service to the local population at moderate and high-risk.
  • Work within agreed local care pathways, codes of practice, and professional standards, and specifically embed Clinical Quality Guidelines.
  • Complement the service by using first-class assessment and communication skills to help develop programmes of care and assist in the implementation of treatment plans.

Requirements
  • Royal College of Podiatry (RCPod) Assistant Practitioner qualification.
  • An awareness of NHS priorities.
  • Knowledge of podiatric conditions and procedures.
  • Excellent organisational and clinical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm, integrity, confident, positive attitude.
