We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Foot Care Assistant to join our Diabetes Foot Protection Service at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients at moderate and high risk of developing diabetic foot problems.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have completed the Royal College of Podiatry (RCPod) Assistant Practitioner qualification or equivalent. You will work within agreed local care pathways, codes of practice, and professional standards, embedding clinical quality guidelines in your practice.
As a Foot Care Assistant, you will complement our service by utilizing your exceptional assessment and communication skills to develop programmes of care and assist in the implementation of treatment plans. You will work in a range of community settings across BHR, providing care that is tailored to the needs of our patients.
