We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Night Auditor to join our team at Moxy Edinburgh Fountainbridge. As a Night Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial accuracy and integrity of our hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Operations: Run the night audit and balance the day's accounts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Hotel Preparation: Prepare the hotel for the following day, including tasks such as inventory management and room preparation.
- Guest Services: Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Inventory Management: Manage hotel room inventory, checking guests in and out, and ensuring accurate room assignments.
- Food and Beverage Operations: Operate Food & Beverage outlets, ensuring seamless service and high-quality food and beverage offerings.
- Accounting and Finance: Manage all bills and payments correctly, ensuring accurate financial records.
- Food Safety and Quality: Follow all food safety, licensing, and health & safety policies to ensure a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff.
- Team Support: Support other crew members and follow direction from crew leaders, promoting a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Brand Promotion: Promote and support the Moxy brand and the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program, ensuring a consistent and high-quality guest experience.
Requirements:
- High Energy and Motivation: Demonstrate high energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude, with a strong work ethic and ability to multitask.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess good communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Knowledge and Experience: Have experience within the service industry, with knowledge of hotel systems such as Opera and/or Micros, and Food Safety & Licensing laws.
- Travel Industry Knowledge: Possess personal experience of travel and the travel industry, with a strong understanding of the hotel industry and its operations.
