We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Specialist to join our team at Pathfinders. As a key member of our PR agency, you will be responsible for managing our clients' reputations and maintaining strong relationships with the media and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, media, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and reputation management.
  • Draft and disseminate key materials, including proposals, communication plans, strategies, press releases, reports, key messages, and media briefing documents, to support our clients' goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement digital and social media strategies to enhance our clients' online presence and engage with their target audiences.
  • Manage media relations, including pitching stories, handling media inquiries, and coordinating media briefings and site visits.
  • Oversee social media management, from content planning to campaign execution, to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all platforms.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in corporate or consumer PR, with a strong background in media relations and reputation management.
  • Experience in one or more of the following sectors: property, real estate, food and beverage, architecture, and placemaking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently interact with senior individuals, including media, journalists, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to write in a variety of styles, including press releases, reports, and key messages.
  • Good media skills and contacts, with experience in proactive media work and a strong understanding of the media landscape.
