Senior Pest Compliance Officer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Pest Compliance Officer to join our Regulatory Department at Iceland Food Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our stores remain pest-free and compliant with relevant regulations. Your primary goal will be to manage pest control activities across our sites in the UK, working closely with internal departments and external stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our business. If you have a strong background in pest control, excellent communication skills, and experience working with multi-site food businesses, we encourage you to apply.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing pest compliance at a national level, with knowledge of relevant legislation and legal frameworks. You will also possess excellent technical skills, including a BPCA Certified Advanced Technician or RSPH Level 3 in Pest Management qualification. Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of HACCP and Food Safety Programs, as well as the ability to identify business risks associated with pest control.

In this role, you will work closely with internal departments, such as Central Services and Property, to implement effective pest management strategies. You will also lead on weekly escalation meetings with our competent pest control contractor and other stakeholders, as well as complete site reviews to assess current measures being employed by the contractor. Furthermore, you will develop a proactive and reactive training program to educate colleagues on pest control best practices.

The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary package, which includes a base salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. This figure may vary based on individual circumstances.
