Job Title: Live-in Carer

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced live-in carer to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes. As a live-in carer, you will be responsible for providing personal care, administering medication, preparing meals, and offering emotional support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Administer or assist with medication in line with the care plan
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if required
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to our clients
  • Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping
  • Support clients with mobility and transfers
  • Keep accurate records of daily activities and changes in health
  • Communicate effectively with family members and the care team

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a care role
  • A caring and compassionate nature
  • Ability to live in the client's home for 2 weeks at a time
  • Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
  • A valid driver's license
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS check
