About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Gateline team as a Team Leader at Newton Abbot Station. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of Gateline Assistants and delivering exceptional customer service to our passengers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a team of Gateline Assistants to ensure excellent customer service and revenue protection.
  • Assist with the day-to-day operation of the automatic ticket barriers and ensure customer security.
  • Inspect and issue tickets, and address customer needs in times of service disruption.
  • Ensure the professional appearance of the Gateline area and maintain customer walkways.
Requirements
  • Proven leadership experience within a team environment.
  • Cash handling experience and numerical ability.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work within guidelines and prioritize workload.
