Strategic Commercial Leader – Europe

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Director to lead our UK arm as part of a global listed business in Europe. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will report to the regional Managing Director and be responsible for the governance and control of all commercial activities and processes.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage commercial risks and opportunities, ensuring robust commercial reporting.
- Deliver profitable contracts and projects, maximising profitability and cash control.
- Lead the commercial department, conducting regular profit reviews and P&L management.
- Develop and implement effective cash management and timely revenue collection strategies.
- Engage with the C-Suite and stakeholders, providing accurate information for contribution forecasts and monthly cost/value reports.
About You
You will be a strong commercial leader with extensive experience in commercial management, having previously managed a large P&L (~£100M). You will have up-to-date knowledge of building legislation and strong financial and commercial skills. As a strong negotiator and influencer, you will be able to communicate effectively at all levels. Industry experience in engineering or similar sectors, especially refurb and refit, is desirable.

This is a hybrid role with a combination of working from home and the London office. The role includes travel to the Hertfordshire office and national travel where required. We are open to candidates who wish to relocate.
