About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Clinical Development Specialist to join our team at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust. As a Surgical Care Professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care and supporting the development of our surgical services.
Key Responsibilities- Under direct or indirect supervision, manage the complete clinical care for patients within the surgical specialty to enhance patient care and improve patient flow, in line with local, regional and national standards.
- Provide surgical assistance as and when required.
- Undertake comprehensive physical and other assessments, analysing differential diagnoses and deciding on the appropriate treatment based on clinical findings for patients with complex multi-dimensional clinical conditions.
- A degree from a UK university minimum 2:2 honours or an academic or professional qualification which is the equivalent in breadth and depth to a UK honours degree.
- Experience working clinically in surgery.
- Completed portfolio of professional development which evidences an advanced level of clinical practice in line with NHSE (2017) framework for SCP.
