Job Title: Senior Support Coordinator

At Thera Trust, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Support Coordinator to join our team in Ross On Wye, Hereford. As a Senior Support Coordinator, you will be part of an inclusive team empowered to create innovative ways to support individuals with learning disabilities to achieve their personal goals and live the lives they choose.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside your Community Support Leader to help manage teams of Support Workers to achieve their objectives of delivering complex support to adults with a learning disability, within a community setting.
  • Be an example of best practice and assist in creating rotas and developing effective support plans.
  • Undertake direct support, including evenings and weekends, and out of hours on-call support as part of a rota.

Requirements:
  • Experience in a senior role within the care industry, supporting individuals with a learning disability.
  • A strong knowledge of the Care Inspectorate and CQC regulations.
  • Compassionate, Caring and Confident.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Keenness to learn in a fast-paced environment and creatively solve problems.
