Behaviour Intervention Specialist

We are collaborating with a school in Bridgend to find dedicated Behaviour Support professionals to assist pupils during lessons and everyday activities.
Job Description:As a Behaviour Support Officer, you will provide individualised support to pupils aged 7-19, working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that every student receives the best possible education and care.
You will be responsible for supporting pupils in staying focused and completing their work during lessons, as well as helping them navigate potentially overwhelming times, such as lunch and breaks.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or adults with challenging behaviour, as well as being passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students.
Requirements:- Enhanced DBS and registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council).
- Understanding of the developmental needs of children and those with disabilities/challenging behaviour.
- A competitive hourly rate of £12.90 per hour.
