Job Title: Senior ESG Consultant German Speaking

Location: Remote (Hybrid - 3 days in office a week)

Salary: £ Depending on Experience)

Languages: English and German (Native)

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior German speaking ESG Consultant to join our expanding consultancy, working across various industry sectors, primarily with private equity clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with the board and senior management of new and existing clients to help them understand and document areas of Environmental, Social and Governance at their company and map their journey to Net Zero.
  • Generate consulting revenues through ESG maturity assessments, due diligence for Private Equity, and annual ESG Impact Reports.
  • Review Net Zero baseline calculations, devise carbon reduction plans, and develop TCFD-aligned climate risk strategies.
  • Score and benchmark clients on ESG metrics, providing actionable plans for long-term value creation.
  • Manage a small team (3-4 persons) of ESG Consultants.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in Environmental, Social or Governance aspects of Sustainability in a business consulting environment.
  • Passionate about NetZero / ESG or Sustainability
  • Fluent in German
  • Enjoy writing as a consultant, as this is a significant part of the role.
  • Strong in Decarbonisation / Net Zero strategy/advisory, carbon management skills
  • Investor reporting, including TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures)
