Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and provide high-quality support to a gentleman in his late 60's living independently in the Penrith area.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the client and promoting independence with daily living tasks, including household chores, personal care, shopping, and regularly going out in the local community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver therapy programmes and support the client's rehabilitation goals
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care and household chores
  • Support the client to engage in activities and promote independence
  • Communicate effectively with the client, family, and healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

About You

  • Full, clean UK driving licence (experience of driving a wheelchair-accessible vehicle is desirable)
  • Experience of working with adults with physical and cognitive impairments is essential
  • Dependable and professional, with a positive attitude and ability to motivate and engage
  • Flexible and able to work under pressure
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS and enrol in the DBS update service
