Catering Operations Supervisor

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Operations Supervisor to join our team at Uber Boat by Thames Clippers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of our catering services on board our fleet of high-speed catamarans.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all catering staff have the necessary tools and equipment to perform their duties safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment, staff performance, and customer feedback.
- Assist the Catering Manager with performance management and staff development.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all customers receive a 'world-class' experience.
- Deputise for managers and cover shifts as required.
- Support a team of catering staff in serving food and beverages to customers.
- Ensure that all food hygiene and safety procedures are followed.
- Greet customers and explore their requirements for food and drink.
- Oversee the cleaning programme and ensure that all vessels are kept to a high standard of cleanliness.
- Take action to remedy any feedback, complaints, or suggestions received during the course of work.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with previous experience in a customer-facing or food service environment. You should be committed to delivering exceptional customer service and be able to work under pressure. A food hygiene certificate – Level 2 is also required.
