Catering Operations Supervisor

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Operations Supervisor to join our team at Uber Boat by Thames Clippers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of our catering services on board our fleet of high-speed catamarans.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all catering staff have the necessary tools and equipment to perform their duties safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment, staff performance, and customer feedback.
- Assist the Catering Manager with performance management and staff development.
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times, ensuring that our customers receive a world-class experience.
- Deputise for managers and cover OCSA shifts as required.
- Support a team of OCSAs in serving food and beverages to customers, adhering to brand standards.
- Follow food hygiene and safety procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Greet customers warmly and explore their requirements for food and drink.
- Oversee the cleaning programme and ensure that all vessels are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
- Take prompt action to address any feedback, complaints, or suggestions from customers or staff.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or food service environment is essential.
- Flexibility, commitment, and the ability to work under pressure are key requirements for this role.
- A Level 2 food hygiene certificate is a must.
