Senior EMC Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior EMC Engineer to join our Electrical Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage EMC requirements and acceptance criteria for systems, platforms, and programmes
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure EMC compliance and provide expert advice on EMC design considerations
  • Liaise with EMC test engineers to design and specify testing regimes that meet EMC standards
  • Design and implement system mitigation strategies to meet EMC requirements
Requirements:
  • BEng (Hons) / MEng or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
  • Proven experience in design for EMC compliance and a strong understanding of EMC Defence Standards
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
