Medtronic is a global healthcare technology leader committed to alleviating pain, restoring health, and extending life.

We are seeking an experienced Medical Science Director to lead our Acute Care & Monitoring (ACM) Operating Unit's Medical Science & Economics Team in Western Europe.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced scientific and medical knowledge, executive presence, robust economic and education proficiency, and personnel management experience.

This is a dynamic opportunity where you will create and execute a comprehensive Medical Science strategy that enables commercial success by establishing the clinical and economic value of the ACM portfolio.

You will lead cross-functional collaborations, clearly communicate Medical Science & Economics strategy and deliverable expectations, and remove barriers to ensure the Medical Science & Economics Team can meaningfully contribute to ACM Western Europe business success.

The Medical Science Director will be responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), leveraging their insights to influence clinical strategies, product development, and market positioning.

This role requires the ability to translate complex medical and economic evidence into compelling narratives that resonate with healthcare providers and stakeholders.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to construct a robust clinical and economical value proposition for Medtronic's products.

A successful candidate will have a strong track record of developing and leading a team focused on scientific communications, medical education, and/or health economics at a medical device or life sciences company.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP) and an annual long-term incentive plan.
