We are seeking an inspirational, dynamic, and innovative Team Manager to join our EmPower Contextual Safeguarding Team in the Lancaster, Fylde and Wyre area.

As the Team Manager, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing the Contextual Safeguarding approach across Lancashire Children's Social Care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of multidisciplinary practitioners in delivering high-quality support to adolescents
  • Drive the development and implementation of Contextual Safeguarding practices
  • Oversee the protection of adolescents from extra-familial harm
  • Maintain a sensible caseload, allowing your team to deliver high-quality support
  • Benefit from a flexible working environment that values outcomes over clock-watching

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work, with relevant professional registration
  • Proven track record in managing a team within a social work or safeguarding context
  • Genuine commitment to safeguarding and improving the lives of adolescents
