About the Job

The Control Systems Engineer Lead will be responsible for implementing and enforcing standards, rules, systems, and protocols for controls engineering, ensuring that all projects meet the required standards and specifications.

This role requires a strong background in system design engineering, technical administration, and quality assurance, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the development of control systems and sub-systems, ensuring that they meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Develop and implement test plans and procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of control systems.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines, such as mechanical and electrical engineering, to ensure that all aspects of control systems are properly integrated and tested.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for control systems, including user manuals, maintenance guides, and technical specifications.
  • Identify and address any technical issues or concerns related to control systems, working closely with the project team to resolve these issues.
  • Provide training and support to project teams on control systems, ensuring that they understand their roles and responsibilities in relation to control system implementation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in control systems engineering, with a focus on system design, technical administration, and quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of SCADA applications, control systems software, and hardware.
  • Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring that all project objectives are met.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including ISO 9001 and IEC 61508.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex technical issues.
  • Possess a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
