Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineering Lead to join our team at EarthStream Global.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in designing and enhancing control systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards, configuring VFD drives and ProfiNet systems, validating safety software against a safety matrix, documenting processes and procedures, and maintaining strong communication with customers and colleagues.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced engineer looking to take on a leadership role. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience of writing PLC software from first principles, ideally in SIEMENS S7 classic and/or TIA, or Rockwell Studio 5000, as well as experience writing safety software and validating it against a safety matrix.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience of writing PLC software from first principles
  • Experience writing safety software and validating it against a safety matrix
  • A good understanding of electrical drawings and fault finding using a multimeter
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • A full UK driving licence
  • A good command of the English language, both spoken and written
